Café Catula Restaurant & Art Gallery by Ray Raposo

Cafe Catula is an elegant and contemporary restaurant that offers delicious gourmet food while exhibiting an extensive art collection of bronze sculptures and contemporary paintings that are available for purchase. But mainly in the restaurant & gallery you can enjoy lunch or dinner in an elegant and cozy atmosphere.

Entering the restaurant you’re greeted by modern sculptures

Café Catula also features a complete bar area and lively music provided by a piano bar with performances by many renowned musicians. The food features a delicious twist on an international menu of American, Spanish and Italian dishes with a modern Cuban inspired flavor.

They feature separate Lunch and Dinner Menus, with some differences. Some Appetizers include Beef or Chicken Empanadas, Tostones Catula, and Corvina Ceviche. They feature several salads and a delicious Soup of the Day as well. Their Tapas include Codfish, Octopus, Shrimp to name a few. There are Pasta and Risotto dishes like the savory Risotto Di Gamberi, shrimp and asparagus cooked in saffron. Their Homemade Pasta is special with one of my favorites the Ravioli Di Miami, filled with pork and sweet plantains topped with black bean puree sauce. The Poultry dishes are spectacular starting with the Chicken Picatta. There’s usually a Catch of the Day along with a Wild Salmon dish. The Meats include the Veal Scallopine Picatta and some steak choices, their Argentine cut Prime Angus Skirt Steak, and a 10 Oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon. Not to be left out are the Desserts including the Coconut Flan, a Tres Guayaba, Creme Brûlée and Crepes de Dulce de Leche… they are all fantastic for the sweet tooth. They have a colorful bar area serving all types of mixed drinks and their Wine List is extensive. The servers are quite friendly and professional, ready to answer any question you might have.

A collaboration between owners Saul and Leida Hernández and artist Uldis Lopez, Café Catula offers guests a unique entertainment and dining experience combining exquisite food and beautifully sculptured custom bronze art. The limited edition series of contemporary bronze sculptures, titled Catula Collection, vary in size and are displayed throughout the restaurant. They also display a variety of paintings on their walls.
